Ok, I'm all about "pops"**  Whether it's a pop of print or a pop of color, they work for me! When wanting to dress down but not look so plain jane, add a pop and see how that works for ya! :)

This is what I wore this weekend as I dipped in and out of stores beginning to prepare for Thanksgiving next week. I absolutely refuse to engage in the guaranteed cart-rage that's going to take place in the overcrowded  grocery story aisles! 

It's possible to be cute and comfy, even during the hectic holidays.....

Meet my handsome (12 year old) son, Dylan Jerome!!!
 A few weeks ago his school/ social studies class was teaching/ learning about the election/voting process. He was assigned a country (Malaysia),  had to write a speech, and campaign why he should be the leader of his country. They were told to dress the part in an effort to convey assurance.
Since he is GROWING LIKE A WEED, I had to purchase him something nice to wear, plus he needed a "tween-age" suit anyway. So shopping I went happily......

Poncho and Riding Boots...

When it's cold out, but you're not exactly in the mood to wear a coat, wear a PONCHO! They allow for so much more physical flexibilities, plus they're very stylish and chic.... Flat/riding boots have been a staple in my winter wardrobe for yearssss. The ones I'm wearing are my all time favorites, I get compliments on them every time I wear them!!  You should definitely invest in each of these pieces :)

Birthday Wish List..!!!

Ok, I LOVE sequin, glitter, metallics, furs, and anything that resembles the 70's /Studio 54 era. The problem is, I just don't frequent the party scene enough to splurge on the "wear once" pieces, besides I own quite a few that I just admire from time to time (never worn). I composed a wish list of pieces from the awesome  NASTYGAL that I absolutely adore!

Today I had a fashion emergency! This day was supposed to be a sweater and leggings kind of day, but nooooo. The sweater ended up being much shorter than I'd expected- revealing more than I'd wished in my leggings, so I had to think fast!!! I was not in the mood for jeans so I thought quick, grabbed a black skirt, layered, and was out the door! I think it worked pretty well for a soup and salad date with Fellow Blogger MotifMana. :)

Eat Glitter For Breakfast....Yum!

 Wow, it is already November and feeling much like Winter (wahhhhhh)! Let me admit, I loatheeee getting dressed in the colder months I'm a thin dress & sandals chic!   It just takes too much effort to be warm and stylish (in my opinion), so you'll see lots of casual/practical looks. Of course I'll switch it up, but for the most part, humph!
  I'm still on the roll with my Sunday Stylespirations. This week I was inspired by something delicious and sparkly!

Joggers and Oxfords

Joggers are sooo in right now! They are just the perfect pant to lounge in or dress up! All one needs is a destination, throw them on, and go! They can be found in just about any store you visit in a variety of colors and fabrics. I wore this to a business lunch and felt comfortable and chic. That night my family and I went out for the evening and I threw on Nike gymshoes for an even more comfortable chic look!
